Fresh Air
Today we got a visit from Auntie Pam which is always a treat! She's especially fun to be around with her blossoming pregnant belly, getting bigger and bigger! I took Wolfie on a "Bob Jog" (his new fitness stroller, BOB) which did the trick for his fussiness. . . most likely caused from the shots he got yesterday. The fresh air was much needed, and I'm happy to be on a good an steady road to slaying this post-preggie-pot-belly.
He looks so cute in his bear "cozy" and spent most of the time looking at the branches of trees and fast flying birds through his mobile sky-light!
After the run we just relaxed on the bed in his room and just looked at each other. He gripped my fingers tightly and coo'd and ahhhed. It was one of those "words can't describe" moments, so I decided to seal the memory the best I could with some pics. Even if you see the affection here, there's no way to truly capture how devoted and in love I am with this baby boy.

My Little Sleeper
When wolfie is in my carrier, he has no problem taking it upon himself to make things a little more dark and quiet while I run around the house doing chores, lol.

Nanny Kern
We had a great visit with Brett last weekend, Wolfie's other "Uncle B", but for Brett I'm going to spell it: "Unkie Bee", lol. Like many of our friends and family, people are still asking "so how's Colonel Mustard doing with Wolfie in the house?". Well, Brett nick-named Mr. Mustard. . . "Nanny Kern". Anyone who has been around Colonel Mustard and Wolfie you will know how appropriate that is. He's been nothing but loving and very protective over him (don't worry. . we never, ever leave them alone and have our eyes on him at all times). Whenever I nurse, you bet Nanny Kern is right there by me to capitalize on the love fest, or, keep a watchful eye on Wolfie when he is playing. Thanks Brett for the Pooh blankie toy!

Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall. . .
Last week, Eric and I had the thrill of seeing Wolfie discover the mirror for the first time! Cutest thing on the planet and a bit creepy. Yes, I just called my baby creepy. Anyone who has experienced this will agree, it's very eerie because he gets really quiet, and you're busy wiping a fold or fasting the diaper and you see his little eyes just staring at your VEERRRRYYY still through the mirror. It is startling, lol. We call it "Mirror Daddy"and "Real Daddy" as he skips between reality and the looking glass. My mom half joking and half serious said "Awe, make sure it's not teasing him like when you point a laser dot on the floor and the cat chases it".
Play Date with the Cuzzies
Some of my fondest memories are those that involved playing with my cousins. We were all similar in age growing up so family functions were always a party and crazy good time. Adults? What adults? We created our own little cacoon of a world and they were all just living in it.
It warms my heart that Wolfie was born into this world with two wonderful cousins, Sabrina and Julian (and also baby Mason!) My sister in law Christine and I were already laughing and bracing ourselves for inevitable day when Julian and Wolfie are playing together and causing a ruckus! Thanks for the cuddles and kisses today guys! As promised, next time I'll be better equipped with "snacks"...this new mommy has do much to learn! :)

Auntie Meghan Visits Wolfie
One of my best friends at work finally got to meet Wolfie. Like all Wolfie visitors I didn't hesitate to put her to work, lol. But she loved every minute of it! :)
Bend It Like Beckham
Our guy discovered his feet and has some very strong kicks!!!! I strapped a noise making activity bar across the changing table where his feet are and now diaper changes serve as playtime too! It's amazing to see his little eyes light up when he very purposefully kicks one spot over and over . We may have a soccer player in our future!
